Patient 6 released
It's been about half a year since the last major update, I think. You're used to me be slow now though, right? It turns out comedy doesn't come quick but with any luck, you will find that it was worth the wait.
This update contains almost 20,000 words distributed across 3 new story nodes and a patient.
Unica Semper Avis (Story 1): The world isn't just full of robot hybrids; meet your first zombie character in this chapter as he helps Dandroid and Angelo solve a problem the only way he knows how. (Is it punching? I bet it's punching.)
Undrunken Rant (Story 2): Dandroid returns from taking out the trash and finds HAL alone at the bar in the middle of the night. With a little prying, will he find out what this nut and beer thief has to say for himself? (I may have gotten a little serious with this one. If you don't like it, let me know and I'll dangle HAL upside down until he's happy next time, okay?)
Hark-A-Lark (Story 3): Dandroid gets visited by a weirdo that claims to sell exotic watermelons grown with not-so-exotic ingredients. But it's never that simple, is it?
Ousama Shiritori (Patient 6): When the self-proclaimed Master of Games comes knocking and challenges Dandroid to a round of pogs, the poor doctor gets more than he bargained for and winds up battling for his very freedom in a world of unmaking.
The next feature to make it into the update is a censorship toggle.
Clicking this switch to on should replace any dialog that has cursing or innuendo with something else and it will also remove any images containing blood. Please note that I had a lot to look through on all fronts and there's a fair chance that I missed some stuff. If you find something that you feel was indeed overlooked, please do let me know in a manner befitting a human.
Finally, there is a new quality of life feature: All map nodes have been numbered or otherwise tagged to help make finding stuff easier. In addition, patients have all their nodes connected by a blue line now, making it easier to distinguish them at a glance.
There's also a new surgery stage type: Duel (A turn-based stage where you have to get so many block breaks within a time limit.)
Going to take a break for the rest of the week and then start back by attempting to do the thing I said I would never do and draw a background. (Only this once and only for the basement and only because the majority of the game takes place there. Also, don't quote me on this because I'm a sucker for self-inflicted torture.)
Anyway, please do enjoy the update at least slightly more than I enjoyed fixing the glitches.
Until next time,
Nachos

WE WANT CLICK FLAIR! WOOOOOOOOO!!!
By you want Click Flair, do you mean you want the guy who can currently only speak using phrases from a video about anteaters to make another appearance? Because I'm not against the idea but I really felt he had overstayed his welcome by that point.
I SAID, "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" DAMMIT!!
That's an awfully roundabout way of saying "Please sir, may I have some more?" But I'll forgive you because you wrote in all caps.
